Rubble was once routinely hauled to landfills for disposal, but recycling has a number of benefits that have made it a more attractive option in this age of greater environmental awareness.
Recycle Southern is now a major supplier of Recycled Aggregate in the West Sussex region.
Material is collected by our own vehicles (skips, grabs, tippers), or brought in to our site by third parties – such as other waste carriers, builders, landscapers, and householders – and consists mainly of concrete, brick rubble, slabs, blocks and stone.
All material is fully processed on site at Elbridge Farm Recycling Centre and is available as 6F5 (100mm down), Type 1 Crushed (40mm down), Clean 6F5 (100-40mm), or fines only (10mm down).
Recycled Aggregate makes a very good, economical bulk fill material – ideal for:
- Capping layers
- trench fills
- temporary hardstandings
- haul roads
- building sub-bases
- path/road/highway/driveway/patio sub-bases
- equestrian arena sub-bases and drainage layers
- piling mats
Our recycled aggregate is produced in line with strict WRAP protocols, and regular testing is carried out, as necessary for compliance with approved highway standards.
Availability: Delivered Loose by 8 Wheel Tippers (up to 20te loads), Grab Lorry – either loose, or bagged. Or collect from our Recycling Centre.
