Recycle Southern Ltd provide the perfect Skip Hire service for your requirements, at very competitive rates, no matter how large or small.  

We take the contents of your skips to our recycling centre, ensuring that your waste is disposed of in an ecologically friendly manner – whereby as much waste as possible is recycled or reprocessed.

If you’d like to place your skip on a public road, footpath or grass verge, you will need a permit, which we can arrange on your behalf – subject to local authority terms and conditions.  If the skip is being placed on your driveway, garden or private land then a permit is not required. 

We can accept most non-hazardous waste in our skips, but there are some items which we can’t accept, or that may incur an additional charge – including mattresses, fridges, TV’s, tyres, batteries, asbestos and more.  Please ensure you click here for our Skip Hire Terms & Conditions, including details of Restricted Waste, prior to ordering your skip.

Skip sizes range from 2 to 12 cubic yards to suit a variety of needs, from a garden clear out, to a large construction site.

We also offer a ‘wait and load’ skip hire service – our driver will wait while you load your skip, and get your rubbish gone in a flash!

2 Yard Skip
Approx 5ft Length x 4ft Width x 3ft Height. Holds about 25 – 35 black bags.
Mostly used for small renovation projects such as bathroom refurbishments or demolishing garden stonework, small walls or patios.

4 Yard Skip
Approx 7ft Length x 5ft Width x 3ft Height. Holds about 45 – 55 black bags.
The perfect skip for renovation projects and smaller house clearances.

5 Yard Skip
Approx 7ft Length x 5ft Width x 4ft Height. Holds about 55 – 65 black bags.
Suitable for renovation projects and small house clearances.

6 Yard Skip
Approx 10ft Length x 5ft Width x 4ft Height. Holds about 65 – 75 black bags.
Our standard builder’s skip that can be used for larger building and refurbishment projects. The most popular skip for both builders and domestic use, including larger house clearances and available with or without a drop door – which are ideal for soil or rubble.

8 Yard Skip
Approx 12ft Length x 6ft Width x 4.5ft Height. Holds about 75 – 85 black bags.
The most popular skip for building projects. It is ideal for very large garden landscaping projects as well as full property clearance projects for large houses.  We also have enclosed 8yd skips available, as well as drop door skips – ideal for disposal of inert waste.

10 Yard Skip
Approx 12ft Length x 6ft Width x 6ft Height.
Our 10 yard skip is suitable for major projects. It has a low level lip at the back end allowing for easy access and its high sides making the ideal 10 yard container for bulky items. Not suitable for heavy waste i.e. soil or rubble removal.

12 Yard Skip
Approx 13ft Length x 6.5ft Width x 6.5ft Height.
The most popular skip for industrial and commercial use.  Suitable for major projects, and ideal for large, bulky items due to it’s high sided construction. Not suitable for heavy waste i.e. soil or rubble removal.
